Our Story
Our Story
Fountain Wellness Therapy is a private outpatient practice offering a holistic, evidence-based, and culturally informed approach to mental health care for adolescents and adults. Our team of licensed therapists provides thoughtful, individualized support for anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and co-occurring mental health concerns.
Fountain Wellness was created from both professional experience and personal understanding of how deeply mental health struggles, trauma, addiction, and life stressors can impact individuals and families. We know that healing is rarely linear, and that real support requires compassion, connection, and care that meets people where they are.
As a family-owned and operated practice, we built Fountain Wellness to feel different from traditional clinical settings. We wanted to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, whether they are navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, substance use, burnout, relationship struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life.
Our mission is to help people move beyond survival mode and build the capacity to live fully, even while facing mental health challenges and difficult life circumstances. We believe therapy is not only about reducing symptoms; it is about helping people reconnect with themselves, strengthen relationships, develop resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
At Fountain Wellness, one of our goals for therapy is to support clients through their struggles while also helping them thrive in life. Healing is not about becoming a perfect version of yourself. It is about learning how to move through life with greater self-awareness, emotional strength, purpose, and connection.
We take a whole-person approach to care, recognizing that mental health affects every part of life — relationships, physical well-being, identity, family dynamics, work, confidence, and daily functioning. That is why our services extend beyond traditional therapy sessions. Through personalized counseling, outdoor therapy, wellness outings, support groups, family counseling, and community connection, we help clients build real-life coping skills and supportive relationships outside the therapy room.
Our team uses evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, ACT, IFS, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, while never losing sight of the human connection at the center of healing. We believe clinical excellence and authentic compassion should exist together.
Above all, Fountain Wellness exists to remind people that they do not have to navigate life’s hardest moments alone.
Our Mission
To treat the whole person — not just the symptoms — through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that helps individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive in everyday life.
We strive to help clients build the emotional resilience, self-understanding, and practical tools needed to live fully, even in the presence of mental health struggles and life challenges.
Our Values
Whole-Person Healing
We believe mental health care should address the full picture — emotional, relational, behavioral, physical, and environmental factors that influence well-being.
Authentic Relationships
Healing happens through trust and genuine connection. We value honesty, collaboration, and showing up fully for our clients and community.
Evidence-Based Care
We are committed to using clinically proven therapeutic approaches while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Growth and Resilience
Our goal is not simply symptom reduction, but helping people develop the capacity to navigate life with greater confidence, resilience, and meaning.
Community and Connection
Recovery and healing are strengthened through supportive relationships and shared experiences. We believe people heal best when they feel connected rather than isolated.
Inclusivity and Respect
We are committed to creating an affirming environment where individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences feel valued and welcome.
Integrity and Accountability
We believe in ethical, transparent, and compassionate care grounded in professionalism and respect for the trust our clients place in us.
Our Foundation
Like many families, we have experienced the impact of mental health struggles, substance use, grief, trauma, and loss firsthand. We know what it feels like to search for help while navigating systems that can feel fragmented, impersonal, or inaccessible. We also understand how economic hardship and instability can make healing feel even further out of reach.
There were moments in our own lives when traditional systems of care did not fully meet our needs or the needs of people we loved. We encountered environments that focused only on symptoms instead of the person, treatment approaches that lacked compassion or flexibility, and barriers that made quality care difficult to access during the times it was needed most.
Those experiences shaped the foundation of Fountain Wellness.
We created this practice with the belief that healing requires more than a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a clinical label. People need to feel understood, connected, empowered, and supported as whole human beings. They need care that recognizes the realities of trauma, family dynamics, burnout, grief, financial stress, identity, relationships, and the complexity of everyday life.
Our personal experiences taught us that healing is not always linear, and that growth often happens through connection, community, self-understanding, and learning how to live fully even while carrying pain or struggle. That perspective continues to guide the way we approach therapy today.
At Fountain Wellness, we strive to create the kind of environment we once wished existed for ourselves and our loved ones — one that combines clinical excellence with authenticity, compassion, humility, and real human connection.
We believe people are far more than their hardest moments. We believe recovery and healing are possible. And we believe everyone deserves access to care that honors both their struggles and their strengths.
Nicole Bleau, MA
At Fountain Wellness, our story is personal. It's woven from the lived experiences of our founders, sisters Nicole and Christina Bleau.
Nicole, our founder and Business Operations Manager, was compelled to create this practice after walking alongside her sister, Christina, through her own battle with addiction. This journey sparked a powerful insight: recovery requires a human-centered, harm reduction approach and a community built on empathy, trust, and understanding. Nicole ensures that our strategic operations are always guided by this core belief, creating a safe and compassionate space for every person who walks through our doors.
Christina Bleau, LPN
Christina, our co-founder and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), brings her personal story to her professional work. Her career in nursing and assisted living has always focused on providing support during life's most vulnerable moments. But it was her own journey that solidified her mission to help those in recovery stay on track and thrive in life.
Together, Nicole and Christina have built Fountain Wellness on the understanding that recovery is a journey best traveled with genuine compassion. Our practice is a testament to their shared mission: to support individuals on their path to healing and long-term wellness, guided by a foundation of both professional expertise and lived experience.
