Grounded Support for Heavy Days

Life doesn’t always make room to catch your breath. Some days, getting out of bed feels overwhelming. On others, it’s hard to keep going at all. At Fountain Wellness Therapy, we support individuals who are carrying more than they can manage on their own.

Through individual counseling, we work one-on-one to explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that contribute to ongoing distress, helping clients build insight, stability, and healthier ways of coping.

Co-occurring Disorders

Co-occurring disorders, sometimes referred to as a dual diagnosis, occur when a person experiences both a mental health condition and a substance use concern at the same time. These challenges are often interconnected and can intensify one another when treated separately.

At Fountain Wellness Therapy, we provide integrated outpatient care that addresses both mental health and substance use together. Treatment may include individual counseling, group and family therapy, and education focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention. Our approach supports long-term recovery by helping clients better understand how mental health and substance use influence one another.

Living with Anxiety

Anxiety can show up in many ways. For some, it looks like constant overthinking. For others, it’s sudden panic or a persistent sense of dread that doesn’t seem to lift. Over time, anxiety can affect relationships, disrupt work, and keep people stuck in patterns that don’t feel like themselves.

In individual counseling, we focus on what’s underneath the anxiety while exploring thoughts, emotional responses, and triggers as they show up in real time. The goal isn’t to make you “better.” It’s to help life feel less controlled by fear and more grounded in choice.

Working Through Trauma and Depression

Depression can flatten everything. It can numb joy, drain motivation, and make even small tasks feel overwhelming. Trauma and depression often overlap, as unresolved trauma can significantly shape how depression develops and persists. Some people carry this weight quietly, while others feel consumed by it. We hold space for all of it.

In individual counseling, we work gently and intentionally to address the thoughts that loop, the heaviness that doesn’t seem to lift, and the experiences that feel difficult to share. Our therapists use trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to support healing at a pace that feels safe and manageable. We don’t rush the process. We keep showing up, together.

Support for Borderline Personality Disorder

Living with borderline personality disorder can involve intense emotions, shifting relationships, and deep fears of abandonment. These experiences can be painful and exhausting, but meaningful change is possible.

In individual counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a central part of our work with BPD. Therapy focuses on building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, boundary setting, and trust, all within a supportive, nonjudgmental space. You are not “too much” here, and you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Exposure and Response Prevention for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) involves persistent, unwanted thoughts and urges that can lead to repetitive behaviors meant to reduce distress. While these behaviors may offer short-term relief, they often keep anxiety and OCD patterns in place over time.

At Fountain Wellness Therapy, we offer specialized treatment for OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a gold-standard, evidence-based approach. In ERP, clients are gradually and safely supported in facing feared thoughts or situations while learning to resist compulsive responses. Over time, this process helps reduce anxiety, increase tolerance for uncertainty, and loosen OCD’s grip on daily life.

ERP is carefully tailored to each individual’s experiences and triggers. Therapy is paced intentionally and grounded in collaboration, creating a supportive path toward meaningful and lasting change.
