Individual Counseling
We focus on practical, grounded support that meets people with honesty, patience, and care.

Grounded Support for Heavy Days
Life doesn’t always make room to catch your breath. Some days it’s hard to get out of bed. It’s just hard to keep going on other days. At Fountain Wellness, we work with individuals who are carrying more than they can manage alone. Through one-on-one counseling, we address the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that hold people in cycles of distress.
Co-occurring Disorders
A co-occurring disorder, also known as a dual diagnosis, is when someone experiences both a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder at the same time. These conditions interact and can make each other worse if not treated together. At Fountain Wellness, treatment involves integrated care that addresses both issues simultaneously through a combination of individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and education about coping skills and relapse prevention. The goal is to support long-term recovery by helping clients understand the connection between their mental health and substance use.

Living with Anxiety
Anxiety shows up in different ways. For some, it’s constant overthinking. For others, it’s panic that hits out of nowhere or a heavy feeling of dread that never seems to leave. It can shape relationships, interrupt work, and keep people stuck in patterns that don’t feel like them. Our work together focuses on what’s underneath the anxiety while looking at thoughts, responses, and triggers in real time. Our goal isn’t to make you “better.” It’s to make life less ruled by fear.
Working Through Trauma and Depression
Depression flattens everything. It numbs out joy, drains motivation, and makes even the smallest things feel impossible. Trauma and depression often overlap (similar to how trauma and addiction overlap) because trauma can be a significant risk factor for developing depression. Some people live in it quietly; others feel swallowed by it. We hold space for all of it. In session, we use techniques to help break through the thoughts that loop, the weight that never seems to lift, and provide space for the stories that feel hard to share with anyone else. Our therapists incorporate trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help work through trauma and depression. We don’t rush the process. We just keep showing up, together.

Support for Borderline Personality Disorder
Living with borderline personality disorder often means navigating intense emotions, unstable relationships, and deep fears of abandonment. It’s painful. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is a key part of our work with BPD. We help build tools for emotional regulation, boundary setting, and trust—without judgment or pressure. You're not “too much” here.
Culturally Responsive Care
Fountain Wellness affirms the dignity and identity of every person we work with. We welcome individuals from across the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum and provide a space where identity is respected and not up for debate. We prioritize understanding our clients' cultural backgrounds, values, and beliefs to foster an effective therapeutic relationship and create a safe space for healing.
